3D Printed Acorn Bird House
If you've been considering trying to help some birds in your area find a nesting space, this is a fun little print! This barn style bird house is such a cute way to invite bird friends to hang about near your house. It can be hung up, by the roof, as there are holes in the roof to allow for string to be run through. Alternatively, it also has a stand that can be screwed into the tree allowing it to stand off the tree (as pictured in our personal bird house)
The bottom is fixed together with screws, which if you ever needed to take it apart in order to clean out an old nest for a new bird to move in, you could!
Printed in PETG, making it suitable for sun and outdoor conditions.
Available in any of the listed colors, in which in the personalization box you can let us know if you'd like it in any other color scheme than the one listed. If personalization is empty, we will print in default colors - in this case it was printed in Red for the Barn, with Brown Roof/Doors, White Trim, Green Base
PLEASE NOTE: Rainbow filament will not turn out the same every time as it is dependent on where in the roll it is printing. No two prints will have the same gradient of colors with rainbow filament.
Printed with environmentally friendly PLA as it is biosourced and biodegradable by nature.
(PLA is classified as a 100% biosourced plastic: it's made of renewable resources such as corn or sugar cane. Lactic acid, obtained by fermenting sugar or starch, is then transformed into a monomer called lactide. This lactide is then polymerised to produce PLA.) Due to the nature of 3D printing, minor layer lines may be visible, and PLA should be kept away from high heat and direct sunlight to maintain its shape.
Items are shipping primarily in repurposed boxes when we can use them (so don't be surprised to see an old Amazon or filament box), with biodegradable packing peanuts and/or biodegradable and recyclable honeycomb paper for padding.
Please recycle/repurpose where you can!
